I purchased the app from the Play Store but haven't received an activation code, even though I registered with MY.PROTECTSTAR. Why?
If you buy a Protectstar app through the Google Play Store, your license is automatically managed via your Google Account. That's why you do not receive a separate activation code from us. Even if you subsequently register with MY.PROTECTSTAR, no additional code will be provided there.
What does this mean for you exactly?
- No code needed: Your purchase is directly linked to your Google Account. You can reinstall your app at any time or transfer it to a new device without having to enter a separate code.
- Overview in MY.PROTECTSTAR: Even if you purchased your Protectstar app via the Play Store, you can still view it along with its subscription period in your MY.PROTECTSTAR account.
- Future features: We are continually expanding MY.PROTECTSTAR so that Play Store customers can also benefit from numerous additional features in the near future.
When do you need an activation code?
- Activation code for purchases on our website: If you buy your app directly from the Protectstar website, you receive an activation code that you can enter in MY.PROTECTSTAR.
- No code required for Play Store purchases: In this case, your license is managed automatically by Google, so you don’t need an additional code.
